On Sunday, April 26, 2026, my 15-year-old daughter, Chanel, was the victim of an unprovoked act of violence by a teenage boy on a New Jersey Light Rail platform. The attack resulted in a left patellar dislocation and a possible torn MPFL ligament, injuries that may require surgery to help stabilize her knee and support her recovery journey.
In the middle of pain, uncertainty, and emotional healing, this brand became something more than handmade products. Chanely Pure & Simple was created as a way to transform a painful experience into something meaningful, peaceful, and uplifting.
